Women’s sport in Leicestershire

https://pennyjhopkins.wordpress.com/2016/03/14/back-to-netball-after-30-years-part-4/

When I write about women’s sport I tend to concentrate on the national, or even global.  But I thought it was about time I got involved locally.  There’s so much going on at a local level from encouraging grass roots participation to support for the elite sportswoman.

There are initiatives to get women into the boardroom, on the touchline and into coaching.

In my blog I will be promoting all the schemes I can, primarily in my area, Harborough District, but also throughout Leicestershire (Northants may even get the odd mention!).
